Two weeks +

In just a little over two weeks my husband will be home. I've been racing around trying to take care of some of the things I know he would want taken care of.

I think the three of us have done an ok job in the last six months but we could've done better.
We sure haven't kept up the house the way he would've if he was here.

The lawn doesn't get mowed as often. When mowed it doesn't get raked. It hasn't been edged since he left. The air conditioner filters need replacing. I haven't found the right size yet.
Truthfully, I haven't looked all that hard but did check two grocery stores and Walmart.

His car needs washing and probably an oil change, several lightbulbs that I can't reach still need replacing. Then thanks to the dogs ,the whole carpet needs to be steam cleaned which was in our plans at the beginning. My fish tank needs to be restarted and just general pickup and cleanup inside and out.

My daughter started painting the bathroom but she got halfway done and got sidetracked. So that room is a mess. She kind of did that upstairs too but that's ok, we try to stay away from upstairs. That is just the stuff I see. I'm sure there is more that needs to be fixed, replaced, painted, cleaned or picked up.

Ok maybe we haven't done a very good job. Three people to his one and he still does better than all three of us. Yikes!
