The Halfway Mark
In 9 days, we will be at the halfway mark of this deployment. I thought this would be a really good feeling. I guess it is in some ways. But up until now, the time has passed so slowly. So thinking of another six months remaining is very depressing.
It's much like being in the middle of a troublesome dream and thinking it's time to wake up now. Enough is enough
Unfortunately this is totally out of my control.
But then I look around at a couple of friends and their lives are no picnic either. Their basket is just different than mine.

You're doing great, Peggy. The strides you have taken, and the distance you have wonerfully covered is just simply fabulous!
And yup, different baskets, but it's nice to know we have good friends to help shoulder the load now and then =)
